Man electrocuted to death

Ghaziabad: A 34-year-old man, a manager with a private company, died after getting electrocuted from the naked wire at a park in Ghaziabad's Indirapuram area on Thursday morning.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Saroj Kant Das, a native of Shipra Suncity society of Ghaziabad. The incident took place at around 8 am inside the posh Shipra Sun City residential complex when he was reportedly returning home after dropping his daughter to school.

"The man apparently came in contact with a live wire near the society's park and collapsed on the spot. Locals called the police which took the man to a local hospital where doctors declared him dead. The body has been sent for postmortem," said a senior police official.
