Man dies of electrocution in Sawda village

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police have arrested three persons for allegedly murdering a 23-year-old boy identified as Amir on 9 May, a resident of Sawda village JJ Colony Sawda.
Prima facie, no injury was found on the body of the deceased. However, after identification of the victim, his post-mortem was conducted and he was confirmed to have been killed by electric shock.
Once the father of the deceased came to know about the cause of death, he claimed that four men, Saddam, Nadeem, Bhim and Parvez were responsible.
On Thursday, Nadeem, Parvez and Saddam were apprehended by police. During interrogation, they initially concocted a story of a planned burglary in Sonia Vihar and electric shock to deceased in a nearby field.
"On sustained interrogation, they revealed that they committed burglary of 47 tower batteries from Indus Towers in Tronica City. A team was sent to Tronica City and it was revealed that a FIR regarding the same was registered at PS Tronica City. On careful inspection of the crime scene, chappals of deceased were also recovered," said DCP (Outer) MN Tiwari. Arif has also been detained. Some other co-accused are currently at large.
