Man dies in Rashtrapati Bhavan servant quarters

New Delhi: The body of a man was found in the servant quarters of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi Police said on Friday. The man, identified as Trilokchand, was a Class IV employee at the President's Secretariat and had been unwell for some time, cops added.

On Thursday, a foul smell was found coming from the quarters, following which the staff alerted the police.

The room was found to be locked and later broken open to find the 50-year-old's body.

The body was sent for autopsy and no foul play was suspected, cops said. They suspect that the body was lying there for a few days.
