Man dies as his scooty hits divider

New Delhi: An A-30-year-old man died after his Scooty hit a divider in Southeast's Okhla Estate Road on Thursday. The deceased identified as Verma Kumar, was a resident of Indra Kalyan Vihar Okhla. Kumar worked as taxi driver.

The incident came to light at around 11:51 pm on Wednesday after the police received PCR call regarding the accident at Okhla Estate Road.

DCP Southeast Chinmoy Biswal said that a police team was sent to the spot where injured was not found, however, one damaged Scooty was found there near Hanuman Mandir near Pocket A13, Kakaji Extension on Okhla Estate Road going towards crown Plaza Red Light. Biswal said. "Later, information was received from Appolo Hospital regarding a person brought dead who was identified as Verma kumar.
