Man dies after falling from height in Tagore Garden

New Delhi: A 24-year-old man died allegedly after falling from building in West Delhi's Tagore Garden area. Police said that they suspect that deceased had consumed liquor.

According to police on Monday morning deceased identified as Sanjay, a native of Bahraich, was found lying in c block area of Tagore Garden extension.

On examination of scene of crime, it appeared to be a case of fall from height after Diwali celebrations.

Soon after the incident took place police were alerted about the incident.

Police further added that He came to Delhi about 10 months ago and was working in a restaurant as helper.

"Body is sent to DDU Hospital and action under section 174 CrPC is taken," said Delhi Police in press statement.

After arrival of blood relatives, post-mortem will be done. Police have also questioned several persons in this regard to get clue in the incident.

"Apparently this seems to be a case of fall from height after consuming alcohol," further reads the statement.
