Major reshuffle in Delhi Police

Our CorrespondentNew Delhi: The Delhi Police witnessed a major reshuffle as many senior officers were given the charge of new districts and departments. According to the transfer order, Sunil Kumar Gautam will be taking the charge of Special CP operation whereas Tajendra Singh Luthra will be Special CP (Planning and Implementation). Nuzhat Hassan will be Special CP of Women safety, SPUWAC and SPUNER.

Alok Kumar of the 1996-batch will be new Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic). Meghna Yadav will be the new DCP Shahdara. She will be replacing Nupur Prasad who will be DCP North. Nupur Prasad has been involved in maintaining law and order in Shahdara. The district police under her supervision busted several criminal gangs including Jamtara fraud network and the gang who gave training to children for theft.

Anto Alphonse, a 2008 batch IPS officer, was serving as Additional DCP, Central, is now DCP of the newly formed Dwarka district.
