Lift death: Postmortem of one deceased conducted

New Delhi: A day after the death of four persons including an engineer after they fell from the malfunctioned lift in Narela area, police will investigate the reason behind the malfunctioning of the lift. So far only one postmortem was conducted. On Monday afternoon four persons including an engineer in Narela area died after they fell with the lift. The deceased were identified as 30-year-old Pramod, Sonu (25), Sonu (27) and Rajkumar (25) they were labourers. All of them were the natives of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

According to police, expert may be roped in the to check the malfunctioning of lift which resulted in death. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Rajneesh Gupta claimed that postmortem of one deceased was conducted. "The investigation is on in the case. One of deceased was a service engineer employed by the company who was responsible for the maintenance of the crane," said the DCP.
