Kejriwal asks DUSIB CEO to visit community toilets

New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday directed Delhi urban shelter improvement board's CEO to visit five community toilets every morning from tomorrow and file a status report on their condition along with videos on cleanliness and availability of water at such facilities.
The Chief Minister, who is also the chairman of Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB), asked DUSIB CEO Shurbir Singh to visit community toilets himself at peak usage time everyday up to February 17 and share video reports during his visit with board members.
"The CEO will be accompanied by representatives of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW). These will be surprise visits.
"Locations of toilets will be decided by DCW everyday," a senior official said.
The official said that the CEO will personally visit five toilets at 6 AM everyday, starting tomorrow for one week up to February 17.
He said that the DUSIB CEO will have videos made of each toilet and have them sent to all DUSIB members during the visit itself.
