Juvenile among four nabbed for Mangolpuri rampage
NEW DELHI: Delhi Police on Friday said they arrested three men and apprehended a juvenile for their involvement in violent rampage in Mangolpuri and the murder of two men.
The arrested men, identified as Vishal, Ashu and Suraj along with a juvenile, had come to Mangolpuri's I-block area wearing masks on Wednesday to take revenge for an associate's death.
As they were creating a ruckus and randomly abusing passersby, they were told to stop by one of the two victims Karmveer. This irked the accused and Vishal and the juvenile stabbed the 47-year-old to death.
When Karmveer's neighbour Dinesh tried to intervene, he too met the same fate.
Immediately, the duo fled the spot, and met the other two accused Ashu and Suraj near Hussain Chowk.
The four youth then reached near M-Block, where they were stopped by a resident Suresh from causing nuisance. Enraged, the youth stabbed him as well, causing him serious injuries.
Seeing that a large crowd was gathering to catch hold of them, the four youth immediately fled and went to their respective homes.
