In robbery bid, ice cream vendor attacked with knife

New Delhi: A 30-year-old man claimed that he was attacked with a knife in Shahbad Dairy area on June 8. The complainant told police that the incident was the result of a robbery bid. Police said that victim was returning home around 12.5 AM after selling ice cream. "When I reached Jain Colony in Prahaladpur three persons in motorcycle came," police said. One of the accused hold the victim's hand and another youth started attacking him with the knife. They took out Rs 8,000 from the pocket of the ice cream vendor and fled in the motorcycle. In another case, a man was killed in Jahangirpuri area. He was beaten with bricks.
