In road rage, man shot dead in Nand Nagri

New Delhi: In an apparent case of road rage in the North East district, a 50-year-old man was shot dead when his motorcycle was touched in Nand Nagri area on Monday. Police claimed that they are questioning one alleged accused in the case and raids are going on in the city.

Police claimed that the incident was reported in the afternoon after they received a PCR call from the victim's family member. They rushed to the spot. The deceased was later identified as Tony, who lived in Nand Nagri area. His son was also injured in the incident.

According to police, the victim was sitting outside his house on his bike when the accused came from behind on his bike and brushed past his bike which led to the argument between two. Later the accused who lives nearby the area of deceased went home and told his family members about the incident. "The accused with his father and cousin came to Tony house and started thrashing him. Later they shot him and fled the spot. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead," police said.

A case has registered a case at the Nand Nagri police station and a team has been formed to crack the case.
