IAS aspirant sustained internal injuries in liver, reveals autopsy

Gurugram: The autopsy report of Priyanka Mittal, a 23-year-old IAS aspirant who died under mysterious circumstance in Gurugram guest house, revealed internal injuries in the liver. Even though no external injuries were found at present by the doctors the highlight of the report is that how there was internal bleeding in her body caused due to liver damage.

The postmortem was conducted by a board of two doctors and the report had indicated traces of internal bleeding due to liver damage, but the cause of death is still not very clear," said Gurugram Police spokesperson Subhash Boken.

"The viscera has been preserved and sent for further examination. The police will take the further opinion on the possible cause of death. The accused is still on the run," said Boken. Further, the forensics team has recovered 12 bottles of beer from the guesthouse where the victim apparently died.

On the formal complaint registered by girl's parents, the case has been registered against her alleged boyfriend named Ravinder Yadav.

According to the police, the girl was staying with Ravinder in a guesthouse located in Sector-46. The law enforcement official further added that at around 3 am suddenly the condition of the victim deteriorated and she became unconscious. Owing to her worsening condition, she was admitted to a private hospital in Gurugram by Ravinder where she was declared dead on arrival.

Owing to the mysteries involved in the case, the district police was immediately contacted and the case was registered at the Sector-46 police station.

Amid the development, Ravinder escaped from the hospital and has been absconding ever since. The father of the deceased has alleged that the accused who is a resident of Sector-10 was harassing her daughter and there may be a possibility that he might have even abducted her.
