High fees: Hapless parents get ready to fork out money

After holding several protests against the arbitrary fee hike by various private schools across Noida, the aggrieved parents seemed to have accepted the grim reality. Being concerned over the future of their child after they were denied help by the government and the administration, they are left with no option but pay the fees.

With the end of the month, the school management is set to prepare a list of students who are yet to clear dues. Afraid of the rustication of their child over non-payment of the fees, the parents are making every possible effort to arrange the money.

"There is chaos among us whether to pay the fees or not. Nobody is listening to us. We are forced to leave our office and lead a protest against the fee hike by the private schools. The more in number we gather outside the schools or on roads, there are more chances of our voice getting heard by the government, " said one such parent, Ajeet Kumar.

' He also stated that it is nearly impossible for them to pay the fees.

"Though the school management has clearly justified the fee hike and stated that they will remain adamant over their decision. But, we are still trying hard to make them roll back their decision. We have knocked the doors of all the possible hopes we had. From road protests to twitter campaign, we have done all but we don't know as for how the chief minister is not addressing our issues. We are now concerned over the future of our child and in a state of confusion whether to pay the fees or not," added Kumar.

Though the district administration is planning to form a committee comprising representatives of parents to regulate the fee structure but the parents are confused as they have been denied justice for long.
