HC asks govt to strengthen helpline services

The Delhi High Court on Monday asked the Central government and Delhi Police to monitor and ensure that emergency helpline number 100 becomes "more efficient and effective."
The direction of a division bench of Chief Justice G. Rohini and Justice Sangita Dhingra Sehgal came on plea initiated by the court after "inconvenience" caused to Justice Vipin Sanghi, whose calls to the emergency helpline number 100 went unanswered.
