Gurugram police busts sex racket

Gurugram: The Gurugram police on Sunday busted a sex racket that was functional in a guest house in Sector -39. Sixteen people including 12 girls and four boys were arrested by the law enforcement officials. This is not the first time when such acts have been exposed in the city.
On December 10, the district police uncovered an illegal sex racket that was being run in a spa of a renowned mall in Sector-53. The law enforcement officials have arrested six women, including two foreigners, and a man for operating a sex racket from a spa here.
After a tip off, the police on Saturday night raided the Auwa Thai spa centre in the Central Plaza Mall on Golf Course Road in Sector 53. "The accused, including a woman from Thailand and another from Kenya, were booked under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act and sent to judicial custody for 14 days," said Inspector Ravinder Singh, spokesperson of Gurugram police. On June 29, the police busted sex rackets in shopping malls and arrested 10 women aged between 20 and 25 and a man. In January, 14 women and four men were arrested on similar charges from DLF 2 area and another shopping mall.
