Gurugram factory fire: Vicky, one of the deceased was expecting his first child
Gurugram: Vicky Raghav, a resident of Dhaula village in Sohna, was one of the deceased along with the two Chinese in Gurugram factory blast, had married just four months ago and was expecting his first child in seen months.
Destiny however had something else in store for Vicky as he was charred to death during the electro-welding work in the oven that blasted all of a sudden due to the short circuit.
He was one of the initial recruits in the Pusilin Biotech factory in Rojka Meo industrial area and was working as a mechanic. The residents of his village however claim that he was contemplating starting his own business venture.
He was living in a joint family where he alsong with his wife Shivani was living with the poarents. His brother Sanjay Raghav is serving in Indian Army.
Three persons including two Chinese nationals were charred to death on Sunday afternoon after an oven on which they were conducting sub welding works blasted all of sudden due to short circuit.
The deceased have been identified as Xi Ji Yan, Zhang Yang and Vicky who was a resident from Sohna. The incident occurred at Pusilin Biotech factory in Rojka Meo industrial area on the outskirts of Gurugram city.
The mishap occurred at around 3 pm on Sunday afternoon after reports emerged of a massive fire in the factory due to the blasting of the equipment.
Sources indicate that the blast was so loud that the sound could be heard at a long distance. According to sources, the powder is stored in the boiler so that it does not get spoilt. The expertise of the two Chinese engineers was sought as the oven by the owners as the oven was not functioning well.
