Girl dies under mysterious circumstances in W Delhi

New Delhi: Delhi Police has launched a probe in the case where a minor girl died under mysterious circumstances in West Delhi area.

Police have arrested one person in the case.

On Saturday, police were informed from the hospital regarding the death of a girl in West Delhi.

"She was admitted to the hospital by her parents. Later, she died. We are probing every possible angle to know how the girl would have died," said an official.

Adding further, the officer said that they are also probing whether the minor had to go through an abortion or any medicine related to pregnancy was given to her.

Later, a case under sections 376, 201 and 304 IPC and 6 POCSO Act were registered. Police have also questioned several people in the case.
