His 50-year-old wife Sonu Singh was a principal and used to manage four playschools as well. She was not only teaching the underprivileged kids but also the children of middle-class households.
Moreover, the work done by her NGO was resulting in more being included.

"My brother was a strong individual and he cared for his family. I refuse to believe that he would have taken such an extreme step. I would want the Gurugram police to investigate the case in an unbiased manner and take us into confidence," said the sister of Doctor Singh.
The Gururgam police on their part have not given any confirmation and highlighted that they will first look into all aspects of the case before they will come up with the statement.
"We have registered the case under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and have begun our investigation. Even though we have recovered a suicide note we will like to look into all aspects of the case and have begun our investigations," said Sulochana Gajaraj DCP (East) Gururgam.
