Ggn bus route to be extended to Faridabad, Delhi and Manesar
Gurugram: In order to further strengthen the public transportation system the Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited (GMBCL) that operates Gurugraman is planning to extend the routes to areas South Delhi, Manesar and Faridabad. For this purpose, the public officials have already begun to draw plans of which routes can be more viable to operate on.
According to sources if all goes according to plan they may begin the bus services in two to three months.
Launched last year there are already 85 buses that are at present plying in different parts of Gurugram.
Some of the areas where the buses right now are plying include Palam Vihar, bus stand, MG road and Golf Course road. Not only in new Gurugram but the buses are also moving in older parts of the city.
Grievances however have been shared by the citizens that even now Gurugram is not being able to completely meet the needs of last mile connectivity.
Moreover, the choice of routes has also been questioned on a continuous basis by the aggrieved citizens.
The officials in charge of running the Gurugram bus service however claim that new schemes are now being introduced to increase the awareness among the residents of using the newly launched bus service.
