Gangster held after encounter

Gurugram: The Gurugram police achieved a major success after it was able to arrest Rajesha, local gangster who is believed to be involved in the murder of property dealer Mahesh a week ago. His arrest was not easy as there was an incident of the shootout which occurred in Sector -88 at Dwarka Expressway.

According to the police, a special team of crime branch was formed to nab the criminal after there was a tip-off of Rajesh's presence in the city. After ascertaining the location, barricades were placed at the area for the arrest. After seeing the gangster coming with his colleague on a bike, a police officer asked the vehicle to stop. In order to escape Rajesh 's colleague began firing at the officials. In their defence the police also fired back and were successful in getting hold of their target. He will be tried for the gruesome murder of propeerty dealer who was gunned in front of his twin boys on July 18 after he had gone to drop them off at the school. There are also the host of other cases that are registered against them.

In November last year, the Gurugram police with Jharkhand police arrested the dreaded gangster from Jharkhand Akhilesh Singh.
