Fugitive couple kidnapped and raped two minor girls, arrested

After almost two months, the Delhi Police has arrested the absconding couple who was responsible for raping and selling a 15-year-old girl from Nizamuddin.

Also, the accused revealed that they committed a similar crime with another minor.

With the help of Delhi Commission for Women's (DCW), the victim was rescued on February 2, and also few of the co-accused were nabbed.

The accused, Arman and Hasina, both live in partners were arrested from Sarai Kale Khan.

On sustained interrogation, both have confessed to their crime.

They have also disclosed of having committed similar crimes with one more victim.

The cops have launched their search for the girl. The couple has been taken on two days of police custody remand.

In the October 2016, one minor girl from Chhattisgarh came to New Delhi Railway Station after fighting with her parents.

Following this, she met Armaan who promised her of good employment and marriage. But, his evil plans soon came into play when he kidnapped her.

After this, the victim was also raped with the help of Hasina who was Armaan's live-in partner.

On the victim's resistance, she was confined to a room by the couple.

Three accused who were involved in raping after taking her out of Delhi were already arrested by the Delhi Police.

Mohd Afroz was arrested on February 3 near Nizamuddin Railway Station, Pappu Yadav was arrested from Faridabad on the same day. The third criminal, Mohd Zakir was arrested on February 4 from a rickshaw stand near Nizamuddin Railway Station.

During interrogation, they confessed to their crimes. Hasina and Arman both left their rented place in Sarai Kale Khan and were on run.

The victim was rescued when BSF personnel informed 181, Women Helpline.

"We have focussed our efforts to trace second minor girl whom the couple has allegedly sold to other persons," said DCP South, Romil Baaniya.
