Friend, two more held for demanding Rs 50L from bizman

New Delhi: Three persons were arrested by the North Delhi police on Thursday. The investigating agency claimed that the accused had threatened businessman for Rs 50 lakh. One of the main accused in the case was the friend of the businessman. The accused have been identified as Lalit Kaushal, Kapil Kumar and Dinesh Kumar. They made extortion call with the mobile number of fake ID to one businessman of Burari and demanded Rs 50 lakh otherwise they will kill his son. "Accused Dinesh is the mastermind of this gang. However, Dinesh is the close friend of the complainant (Businessman) and he accompanied the complainant to police station for lodging complaint," police said.
