Four injured in cable blast

New Delhi: Four persons including two children of the same family were injured in a cable blast, which took place in Central Delhi's Hauz Qazi area on Sunday.

The family, who was on the scooty, fall victim to a wire short circuit and got injured.

"There might be any short circuit which led to the incident. Probe is going on," said the senior police officer adding that the victims are reported to be stable.

Meanwhile, in South Delhi's Sangam Vihar, a woman and her son died after they came into to contact with the live wire on 15 September. The incident took place in the evening and woman's husband was also injured in the incident. Police registered a case in this regard.
