Four booked for duping people on pretext of providing job
New Delhi: The Economic and Offences Wing of Delhi Police on Monday registered a case against a company allegedly for duping people of their money in the name of providing job under women empowerment scheme.
Police claimed that four persons who claimed to be director, manager and other employees of the private company and duped people of several lakh rupees, have been named in the first
information report.
The complainant has told police that the four people duped them by saying that they will provide jobs in the name of women empowerment. "The suspects signed an agreement with the victims but as per the document no salary was given and nor any commission," the complainant told police.
The company officials told the complainant that they will start a business of packing incense sticks. "The suspects asked the complainants to add more people in the business through which they will earn the profit and later duped them," police said.
