Foundation stone to be laid for several devp projects of DDA
New Delhi: Foundation stones for several development projects of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will be laid down in Delhi's Dwarka area on Monday.
The foundation will be laid down by Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs. The projects are worth Rs 300 crore and include a Golf Course, Sports Complexes, Foot over Bridge, Airport Drain, Cycle Track and Utsav Pandal.
The projects will be started in different parts of Dwarka that includes sector - 8, 10, 11, 23 and 24 and are expected to be completed within 24 months.
The sports complex in Sector 8 Dwarka will be a centre for wrestling, weightlifting, boxing, judo and kabaddi and is expected to cost Rs 66 crore. Besides, another Sports Complex in Dwarka Sector 23 will be started for Football, which will cost Rs 39 crore.
