Former UP minister's daughter-in-law kills self

Ghaziabad: The daughter-in-law of senior BJP leader and former minister in the Uttar Pradesh government allegedly committed suicide in Ghaziabad on Monday afternoon.

Police said that Sunita, 36, committed suicide in Nehru Nagar area.

She was the daughter-in-law of senior BJP leader and ex minister of UP Government Baleshwar Tyagi. The investigation into the suicide has been started, said SHO of Sihani Gate police station.

According to police, Sunita Tyagi, the wife of Sachin Tyagi hanged herself to death on Monday afternoon at her in-laws' residence located in Nehru Nagar. She was rushed to nearby hospital, but the doctors declared her brought dead. The husband of deceased Sunita, Sachin Tyagi, is the son of Baleshwar Tyagi, a former minister of Uttar Pradesh.
