For girlfriend, he instigated many to steal phones

New Delhi: A 23-year-old person was arrested for selling drugs in Najafgarh area of Dwarka district. Police claimed that the accused instigated many persons to snatch or steal mobile phones and give him in exchange for drugs. The accused was identified as Vinay Kumar and resides in Prem Nagar, Najafgarh, Delhi, and originally belongs to Aligarh (UP). "His girlfriends always demanded new gifts but he was always short of money. As he could not get enough money from his parents, he decided to enter into the criminal world for quick money," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Shibesh Singh.
He further added that the accused started selling drugs to drug addicts in Najafgarh area at high rates. There were many occasions when his customers did not have money to buy drugs. Hence he instigated them to snatch/steal mobile phones and give him in exchange for drugs.
