Fmr AIIMS chief appointed senior consultant at Sir Ganga Ram

Former AIIMS Director M C Misra, who retired in January as the head of the premier institute, has been appointed as senior consultant at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here.

"Prof. Misra has been appointed Senior Consultant in the the Department of General and Laparoscopic Surgery. The appointment was done recently. He joined office from today," hospital authorities said. Misra retired on January 31 after serving a tenure of three years and three months at AIIMS.
