Five teenaged students go missing from home in Gzb
Ghaziabad: Five teenaged boys, all friends, allegedly went missing from their home since past three days in Sihani gate area of Ghaziabad. Police have registered a case of kidnapping while they are yet to trace any of the youth.
According to police, the missing youths have been identified as Robin Chaudhary (18), Gaurav Chaudhary (17), Kapil Sharma (17), Vineet Kumar (18) and Harshit Chauhan (16). Harshit, the youngest among all, is a student of class 11 at a private school while rest of the youths have just taken admission in college.
"My brother left home saying that he is going for group study. However, when he didn't come back home till evening, we called his friends but their phones went switched off. Upon calling their parents, we found that all of them were missing from home" said Chaudhary.
"Later in evening, Robin called his father and told him that they have gone to find a job and again switched off his mobile phone. Since then we have failed to contact any of them. We suspect that Gaurav has been influenced by someone as we have never pressurised him for job and he also wanted to complete his studies first and then look for a job," added Chaudhary.
She also said that none of the boys took any money or valuables from their home. "We looked into our house to find out if they have taken money or clothes along with them but everything was there on its place," said Chaudhary.
"Based on the complaint received, we have registered a case under section 363 of IPC. We have been questioning their parents and other friends to get some lead into the matter. We have also informed the police stations of nearby district and have shared their details to help us in tracing the missing youths," said Umesh Bahadur Singh, Station House Officer of Sihani Gate police
station.
