Father thanks DMRC, Police for helping ill daughter reach hospital
NEW DELHI: A Dad thanked Delhi Metro and Delhi Police for their prompt action after his daughter fell ill at Barakhambha metro station and was given immediate help by the coordinated efforts of Meto staff and Delhi Police PCR team.
The girl got off the train as she noticed that she is not feeling well. Soon, the DMRC staff swung into action and informed Delhi Police, the ambulance and the father of the girl.
"The metro driver noticed that my daughter needed help. He informed the platform staff who called ambulance, police and me. I am very grateful to their coordinated effort," said Bobby John, the father of the girl.
The girl was then taken to the hospital where she was doing fine.
The father of the girl also thanked the PCR staff of Barakhamba road including a female staff for following up later and offering help.
Bobby also recalled that some months back a similar situation has happened at a metro platform where a girl fainted and the metro staff wasting no time called for help.
Soon, a lady officer and DMC staff reached the spot for help and the ambulance was called.
