Employee motivation: Brave cops get Rs 1,000 each
New Delhi: Delhi Police has started rewarding the lower rank police personnel with Rs 1,000 to increase their motivation which will be helpful in curbing crime. With the motivation, the senior police official has also told them to control illegal activities including selling of the drugs otherwise they may have to face action.
Started in Dwarka district, the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police, Anto Alphonse had rewarded 17 police personnel of the district for their brave work. Recently, in a call of duty, Assistant Sub Inspector Kuldeep posted at Najafgarh police station saved a person drowning in Ganda Nala at Ranaji Enclave, Najafgarh by putting his own life in danger.
Anto Alphonse told the Millennium Post that hard work of police personnel will be rewarded and it will also make them motivated and boost their confidence which will help in curbing crime. The DCP has also held a meeting with other senior officials of the district where he clearly told them to stop every single illegal activity including drugs of their subdivisions. Another officer added that the focus was given to Dabri subdivision.
In the police briefing, the staff were told about the 10 important points which should be kept in mind while dealing with the crimes. Some of them were wearing the proper uniform, make sure every court's order is properly implemented, the reward will be given for good work, no negligence during duty otherwise get ready to face action.
