Dy CM Manish Sisodia receives award

"This award goes to teachers, principals and each selfless members of the school management committee of Delhi who worked tirelessly for improvement in education," said Manish Sisodia after receiving the Janagarh V Ramachandran Award for Urban Decentralisation for Making School Management Committee Effective.

Sisodia on Thursday said that the city's school management committee is the most vibrant example of community participation to build a better future in education. LG Anil Baijal presented the award to Sisodia on behalf of the Union Urban minister M Venkaih Naidu at the Imperial Hotel. "From the last two years, SMC involves in over all development of all government schools," said Sisodia.
