Drugs worth Rs 2 cr seized, one arrested

NEW DELHI: Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested one key members of drug cartel Munish Gautam, a resident of Wazirabad, Delhi, who is indulged in supply of malana cream in Delhi and Rajasthan. The malana cream worth Rs 2 crore and mobile handsets have been seized by the police. The team laid a trap near International Guest House, Delhi University Delhi and apprehended one person namely Munish Gautam.During search,2 kg malana cream was recovered which was concealed in polythene. The recovered charas is worth Rs 2 Crore in international market.

During sustained interrogation, Munish disclosed that he used to go to Bhuntar where he contacted local people and used to procure charas from there. The malana cream ( green ice, hashish) is supplied to Delhi and Rajasthan,as per demand through carriers. He has come to supply charas to his contact, but was apprehended. He used to supply charas in Delhi University, ridge area.

The accused graduated from DU through correspondence.

He fell in bad company and started consuming charas and liquor. He used to visit Bhuntar, HP, and was lured in supply of Malana cream. Earlier, he was a carrier of malana cream to various parts of country and then he started his own supply. He came in contact of drug dealers in Pushkarand Jaipur and used to supply malana cream.
