DJB takes preventive measures amid Corona scare

NEW DELHI: Amid the Coronavirus scare in India, the Delhi Jal Board has taken a slew of preventive measures in the best interest of the consumers and employees of the Board.

The Board spokesperson stated that functioning of the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, Quality Control Laboratories and other essential services provided by the Board will continue without any interruption.

The Board issued an order stating that to control the footfall in Zonal Revenue Offices, Rebate Schemes for waiver of 100 per cent LPSC and slab-wise waiver on accumulated arrears upto March 31, 2020 depending on categorisation of colony in respect of all domestic consumers (Individual and Bulk) and 100 per cent LPSC waiver for commercial consumers are extended upto June 30, 2020.
