Depressed 28-year-old live streams his suicide on Facebook

Gurugram: In a disturbing incident reported from Pataudi area in Gurugram a 28-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself to death. What seemed to be more shocking he filmed his entire incident of his death on Facebook live. The deceased who has been identified as Amit was being treated for depression.

His condition deteriorated on Monday night after an altercation with his wife that led him to take the extreme step.

The deceased began filming the incident on the social media platform at around 9 pm on Monday when there was no one at the house. Without naming anyone in person the 28-year-old said that he was responsible for his actions and that he was taking this step because he wished to do so. He also asked the viewers to circulate the video. After the statement, he filmed the entire incident where he hung himself from the fan.

There has been no sucide note that has been left behind by him. Meanwhile, the Gurugram police has registered the case and have begun the investigations by having a word with the family members. Even though the law enforcement officials have ruled out any ulterior motive as of now they are in touch with Amit's family and trying to know the reason of what drove him to take such a step. According to the police Amit was suffering from mental depression and his family was getting him treated from PGMIS in Rohtak. "Even as the case seems to be that of suicide, we will still be carrying out investigations to see the other aspects that are involved in Amit's death," said a senior police official from Gurugram police.
