Delhi University admissions to begin from May 15

New Delhi: With the varsity mulling to cut short the duration of its admission process, registration for admission to the Delhi University's 2018-19 academic session is expected to begin early this year.

In a statement, Delhi University said that the varsity undergraduate (UG) courses for next academic session will begin from May 15. The Delhi University or DU admission registration process will be done online and the varsity will open the window for registration process on May 15, said the official.

The registration for Post Graduate (PG) courses will begin from May 18 while the application process for the M.Phil and Ph.D courses will start from May 20, the official who is associated with the admission committee said.

The University administration has also planned open days from May 21 to 29. The open days are held by the university officials to help students and parents understand the process of online application and courses available at various colleges. According to the official, the administration wanted to start the online application process earlier than usual and throw open for the students to ensure that the online portal is glitch free.
