Delhi Congress intensifies poll campaign
NEW DELHI: Delhi Congress has intensified its campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. "Haath ke Saath cycle Yatra" campaign has now passed through several assembly constituencies in Delhi. Addressing the people assembled at the Chaupal, Congress working President Devender Yadav said that people were enthusiastically taking part in the cycle yatra, which was a clear indication that they were now looking towards the Congress party to form a government at the Centre, under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.
The "Haath Ke Saath Cycle Yatra", being held under the leadership of Sheila Dikshit covered the Assembly segments of Uttam Nagar, Vikaspuri and Najafgaarh. "The cycle on Friday started from Dichamu Kala, Najafgarh, Anaj Mandi, Dhansa, Khera Road, Paprawat, Deenpur, Bharatgarh Ayushman Chowk, Matiala Village, Sector-3 JJ Colony and finished at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Apartment, Sector -13 Dwarka.
Yadav said that the Congress workers were emphasising the fact that the poorest people in the country will be given Rs 72,000 annually which will benefit 5 crore families and 25 crore people across the country.
