The last day of admissions as per the first cut-off went without much panic, especially in North Campus colleges of like Miranda House, Shri Ram College of Commerce and SGTB Khalsa College.
No heavy rush of parents was seen on Wednesday, as the Campus was almost empty. Compared to the last two days of the first cut-off admissions, technical glitches and payments problems were minimal.
Some applicants got their admission, while some were waiting to get the College approval letter.
"It was a fine day for me, I have received my acknowledgment letter from the college administration and thankfully, there were no issues," said Pranjal Arya, an applicant to Miranda House.
Dr Pratibha Jolly, principal, Miranda House, said: "To avoid chaos, we only allow applicants into the college building. We provide seating arrangements to the parents in the canteen, auditorium and students activity centre."
Most applicants to Miranda House were seen inquiring about hostel allotment.
The admission process at SRCC also went smoothly, with officials taking extra measures to resolve issues of outstation candidates. However, fewer aspirants were seen, compared to the previous days.
Applicants who came from south India reportedly faced some difficulties. "Officials have resolved the issue and approved their provisional certificate, while giving them ten days to submit original certificates," said a volunteer at SRCC.
Meanwhile, SGTB Khalsa witnessed a flop show on Wednesday, as very few applicants turned up.
"The college campus and admission windows were empty due to the high cut-offs," the college's principal, Dr Jaswinder Singh, said.
