Teen beaten to death by duo over suspicion of stealing horses

A teenager was brutally murdered by two men in Ranhola in Outer Delhi over alleged suspicion of stealing a horse.
Police stated that the accused duo was in inebriated state and brutally murdered the boy whom they thought was a thief trying to steal a horse.
The two men are in cop net.On 18 June, the cops received a call that a dead body was lying in the area of Ranhola.
The police team reached the spot and tried to identify the dead body but had failed to do so. A team was formed which them rolled into action to investigate the brutal murder.
The locals later informed the police that the deceased was caught on suspicion of stealing horses as some people had seen him in the stable.
Soon, they thought that he was stealing the horses and tried taking him to the police.
It was then when two arrested, Vijay Lakra and Manjeetpal came on a bike and took the deceased saying that they will take him to the police station.
But, instead, the duo both killed the boy with an iron rod on the way.
According to sources, the deceased was also intoxicated.
However, no one saw him stealing but assumed that seeing his absurd actions around the horses.
"We are trying to identify the deceased. "The two arrested were under the influence of alcohol," said a senior police officer.
