Hotel manager found dead in lover's room

Mystery shrouds death of a 25-year-old manager of ITC who was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his girlfriend's flat in Dwarka early morning on Tuesday.
The deceased Arnav Duggal had gone to attend a party with some friends after which he first went to drop his girlfriend at her Dwarka flat but stayed the night there.
Following this, the next morning, he was found dead, said police.

Prima facie the police have suspected that it is a case suicide but has claimed to investigate from all possible angles as the deceased's kin has suspected foul play.
Duggal's parents have told the police that he was murdered by his girlfriend and her friends who together staged it as a suicide, police said.
The police have shifted his body to the mortuary for postmortem.

According to police, the Duggal, who worked as a manager at ITC Manesar, was found hanging inside his girlfriend's flat located inside Shakuntala Apartments, Dwarka Sector 10 on Tuesday morning.
After the police received the PCR call, they reached the spot and shifted the body to the local mortuary
and later questioned his girlfriend and close friends about the case.

His friends informed the police that Arnav attended a party at his friend's place and at late night, he went back to his girlfriend's flat to
drop her.

After dropping her he left only to return after some time claiming that he was feeling uneasy.

"His friend's have informed us that Arnav after dropping his girlfriend, returned late in the night complaining that he was feeling uneasy.

The couple slept in different rooms and he was found dead the following morning," said a senior police official.

After his death was reported, his father visited the mortuary and then levelled charges against his girlfriend.

Since no suicide note was found from the spot, the family has claimed that their son could never have taken the extreme step and asked the police to investigate foul play in the case.
The police have said that they will be investigating the case from all angles and are waiting for the post-mortem report from All India Institute of Medical
Sciences to shed clarity on Duggal's death.
