5-yr-old twins die after getting locked in car

Two twin sisters aged 5 years suffocated to death after getting accidentally locked in their car.

The two girls, Harshita and Harsha hailed from Jamalpur village in Pataudi.

This is 30 kilometers away from the Millennium City.

The tragic incident occurred at 9 pm on Tuesday night when the two sisters went inside their old Hyundai Accent car to play.

Accidentally they locked themselves inside the car and could not come out.

Unable to trace the minor girls for more than an hour, their family later found the unconscious bodies in the vehicle.

The girls were immediately admitted taken to a private hospital in Gurugram where they were declared dead on arrival.

The Police have registered the case under section 174 Indian Penal Code under which circumstances of the death of a person raising suspicion is investigated.
"It was an unfortunate incident that occurred.

The two girls went into the old vehicle and were not able to come out as they by mistake had locked themselves and was unable to open it.

"We will go as per law as per law and look into the conditions that resulted in the death of the two young lives," said the investigation officer of the Bilaspur Police Station.
