The Delhi Police made the third arrest in the lynching of the e-rickshaw driver in North West Delhi near a metro station.
Earlier, a Delhi University student was arrested and a juvenile detained by the cops in this case.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police Milind Mahadeo Dumbere said that the third accused, 25-years-old, Mehul Deda was arrested from North Delhi's Timarpur area on Thursday night.
Dumbere said, "We are still searching for around 10 people involved in the May 27 lynching and will soon nab them."
The incident shot to national attention after Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu said the e-rickshaw driver, Ravinder Kumar, was promoting 'Swachh Bharat'.
He was killed by the youths after he objected to them urinating near the GTB Metro station in North Delhi.
Many leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had condemned the lynching and urged the police to arrest the accused.
On May 29, Naidu visited the e-rickshaw driver's house and gave a cheque of Rs 50,000 to his family.
Later the same day, Modi and the Delhi government announced compensations of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 5 lakh respectively to Kumar's family.
