A 50-year-old man was found dead under a flyover in Outer Delhi's Alipur area on Wednesday.
The body was found with injury marks on his neck, which has led the police to believe that he may have been murdered and dumpedat the spot.
The deceased, identified as Surender Ishwar (50), was a resident of Begusarai district in Bihar.
The victims used to work in a medicine factory in Lawrence Road. His body has been shifted to the nearest mortuary, where his post-mortem will be conducted, stated police.
According to police, they were informed about the incident by a passer-by after which they reached Shani Mandi flyover.
They found the man lying under the flyover with blood-soaked clothes.
Initially, the police had thought that he was a victim of a road accident.
However, the police team later found injury marks on his neck after which they grew suspicious that he was murdered.
His family has been contacted who will be able to claim the body after the post-mortem has been conducted.
