GPS leads police to doorsteps of robbers; 7 nabbed

Following the GPS fitted in the car of the Amazon shipment company which was recently looted, the Delhi Police reached the doorsteps of the seven robbers.
Little did the robbers know that the car was fitted with GPS and it would lead the investigators to their house. At that time, the miscreants were relaxing after the loot in Loni, Ghaziabad.
On June 7, Gopal Attri reported that he was driving the tempo containing the shipment of Amazon Company from Delhi to Gurugram.
Around 11.30 pm, a group of seven robbers intercepted his vehicle at ridge road and robbed his vehicle containing goods and shipment on gun point.
He further informed that he was forcibly taken in a vehicle and the robbers poured some chilly powder in his eyes and body. following this, they threw him out near Raja Garden flyover on the Ring Road.
The complainant revealed that the robbed vehicle is fitted with GPS. The cops knew that if the robbers are unaware of fitted GPS, they would track its whereabouts.
Luckily, on tracking through GPS, the location of the vehicle was found at Loni Ghaziabad. A team of Chanakya Puri was formed to trace the vehicle abandoned at the roadside in Loni Ghaziabad after unloading the shipments.
On further analysis of GPS the movement of the robbed vehicle it was noticed that vehicle was routed through Rameshwar Park, Loni Ghaziabad.
"After reaching the area, the Eeco, the vehicle used by the robbers was found parked nearby a house located in the area. After further zeroing, a raid was conducted in a house and all the seven robbers along with the robbed items were found.One pistol and 18 live cartridges were also recovered from their possession " said DCP New Delhi B.K Singh.
