CM goes on inspection of water-logging situation in city

Going stringent over monsoon preparedness, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal himself looking over the task of ensuring no water logging in capital this year and has fixed responsibilities of various officers in Delhi administration.
Water logging remains a major issue of concern during monsoon season in several area of the national capital. Kejriwal has directed PWD secretary fix responsibilities of officers, informed Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.
"PWD will have to reply if water logging prevails in any drain or roads under its jurisdiction. It has also been asked identify water logging prone places and make site inspection," Sisodia told media during a press conference.
The department will launch of call centre for receiving complaints of water logging from 15th June onwards, Deputy CM added.
The PWD is in charge of 1,260 km of roads in the capital while the rest fall under the jurisdiction of the three MCDs.
