Man stabs mother to death, held

A 42-year-old man stabbed his mother to death inside his house over a trivial issue in South West Delhi's Palam area on Thursday. The woman, Premlata (62), was declared brought dead at Deen Dayal Upadhaya (DDU) hospital.

According to a senior police official, they reached the site after a PCR call that came around 11 a.m. After this, they found the woman was lying in a pool of blood.

"When we investigated the matter, it was found that the woman and her son used to fight frequently. She was stabbed multiple times," said a senior police official.

The police have registered a case of murder at Palam police station and the body has been sent for post-mortem, said cops.
