In a bid to avoid any inconsistencies while filling the online admission forms for Delhi University, the administration has decide to introduce 'radio button' to file up the form so as to counter any issued while opting for different subjects and courses.
A radio button or option button is a graphical control element that allows users to choose only one of a predefined set of mutually exclusive options.
According to the sources at the University, several complaints were registered last year of discrepancies while submitting the online forms. To curb these technical problems, the varsity decided to take up the issue urgently.
In 2016, DU introduced the full-fledged online admission procedure for under-graduate admissions. Before that, admissions could be done both online and offline.
"Last year, my daughter submitted the online form but faced problems. When we were about to scroll down the online form, all the opted choices were accumulated in one line or got jumbled. I am happy that now authorities have taken the step and resolve it," said Nirmala Chawla, a parent.
