New CEO of GNIDA takes charge

Senior IAS officer Debashish Panda is now the acting CEO of Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) and assumed the office on Monday, following the list of IAS transfer issued by the state government on May 19.

After taking charge in the authority's office, the CEO met all department heads of group housing, commercial, residential and institutional wings.
Panda also discussed the functioning of each department in the Authority.

"He has directed all the officials to address public grievances at first. The services should be executed in a time-bound manner. He also insisted the officials reach office on time and strictly follow the working hours prescribed by the government," said a senior official who attended the meeting.
The new CEO has made it clear that corruption practices should be stopped immediately, else strict actions will be taken against the violators, he added.

"The CEO will soon share his vision for the city with public. As he is new, he will take the time to understand things in detail," said the official.
