Two women murdered in separate incidents

Two women were murdered in separate incidents in the national Capital on Saturday.

In the first incident, a 32-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her husband's nephew in South East Delhi's Okhla on Saturday morning. The deceased, Seeta, was alone in the house when she was attacked. Seeta was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. The accused has been arrested by the police. Sources say the two were in reportedly in an illicit relationship, which led to the murder. "The accused tried to mislead cops by saying that she was been stabbed by his uncle." said DCP South East Romil Baniya, .

In the second incident, a woman was shot dead by her jilted lover in South Delhi's Malviya Nagar. The incident occurred in early Saturday, when the accused and his friends shot the girl at her house. Cops later arrested the accused and one of his associate involved in the murder.
