The rates of fine for these violations have been set at Rs. 2000 for first-time offence and Rs. 5000 for the second time.
"Our personnel are deployed on major routes in the city to ensure that there are safety and security of the commuters. With fines being we hope that commuters will be more cautious on the road and will be more responsible for their own and other's lives," said Balbir Singh Gurugram police traffic chief.
